Magic Steps that defy Physics
Tired of having the stairs taking up so much room in your simmies' houses?

Want you could make your stairs look like the ones below?

Here is a quick tutorial on how to do this. First turn on two cheats by hitting CTRL+SHIFT+C and typing in the following one at a time:
boolprop constrainfloorelevation false
moveobjects on
Then go to the top level of the two levels where the stairs should exist. Place one tile of a different color right next to where you want the stairs to be. Then place three more tiles each one tile apart such as the below example.

Place one set of connecting stairs on the tile furthest from where you want the stairs to end up and make sure that the end of the stairs land on the next tile. See below.

Continue to do this for the next two tiles as shown below.

The last set of stairs should go through the hole in the floor to the floor below.

Then delete the first three sets of stairs.

Use the terrain leveler tool to level the floor.

And the result is as below.

The stairs in action: Going down.

Going up.

Lastly, turn off the cheats by recalling the cheats window and entering the following one at a time:
boolprop constrainfloorelevation true
moveobjects off
